New web extension generates free donations, just by browsing the internet

Good-Loop this week launched a new way for people to support their favourite charities -- just by browsing the internet.

Tabs for Good is a new web extension that automatically lets consumers make free donations to good causes around the world simply by opening tabs in their web browsers.

It's powered through advertising. Every time someone opens a new tab, a small banner ad is displayed at the bottom of the page.

You don't need to engage with the ad to generate a donation. Just by allowing us to show these ads you can generate an income for the causes that matter the most to you.

It's part of our mission to transform advertising into a force for good. But which charity would you choose to support through Tabs for Good?

Well, to help, we asked the Good-Loop team to share the good causes they choose to support through the new plugin and why.

You can download the Tabs For Good extension through Chrome. To find out more, click here.
