Want the lowdown at Cannes Lions? The Good-Loop team has you covered

The Good-Loop team is back at Cannes Lions this week. After a couple of years of squashed-together virtual festivals, the ad industry's most glamorous event returns to the French Riviera - and we could not be more excited.

Whether it's hosting our own breakfast event, giving our views on various industry roundtables and fireside chats, or just soaking up the South of France sunshine - the Good-Loop team will be out in force along La Croisette over the next few days.

Here are some of the key events you will find them this week:

1. Reddit Event: "A Woman's Place is in The Room"

Date: Today (June 20th)

Venue: Reddit Explorers Club

Good-Loop CEO and founder Amy Williams is speaking on a panel later today about what the ad industry should be doing to get more women into senior positions. How can we make it more inclusive? What are the biggest challenges still facing women in marketing? And what should the industry be doing to promote gender inclusivity?

2. Breakfast Event: "Pretty Green Lies"

Date: Tuesday (June 21st)

Greenwashing is on the rise. Eight out of 10 consumers say sustainable practices and commitments are an important consideration when making purchase decisions, but every day we're bombarded by more and more brands claiming to be greener than they actually are. So how do we ensure brands are putting their money where their mouths are? How do we stop the brand BS and turn it into real action that's positive for the planet?

Good-Loop CEO Williams Good-Loop founder and CEO is joined by renowned broadcaster and adventurer Ben Fogle, fashion researcher and fashion psychologist, Shakaila Forbes-Bell, Global VP at Dove, Unilever Firdaous El Honsali, and Contagious editor-at-large, Katrina Stirton Dodd to talk about what can be done to make REAL change.

3. Captify @ Cannes 'No Leftovers Lunch' - In partnership with Scope3

Ryan Cochrane, Good-Loop's COO, is hosting a roundtable discussion about how the ad industry can tackle its hefty carbon footprint and the challenges faced by the rise in greenwashing.

4. Cannes Roundtable - Creativity, Collaboration and Growth: How Brands Can Make a Global Shift

Date: Wednesday (June 22)

Venue: The Corner room in the restaurant at the Le Gray D'Albion

Julia Hitchman, Good-Loop's Head of Brand and Agency Partnerships, will be joining Campaign's UK editor-in-chief Gideon Spanier for a roundtable discussion - run in partnership with the Department for International Trade and the UK Advertising Exports Group (UKAEG) - on how marketers can drive creativity, growth and collaboration - and make a global shift.
